Supporting Studies

Key Findings

Skincare Study:
  • The microencapsulation ingredient promoted skincare diversity in “good” bacteria populations relative to the unencapsulated ingredients.
  • Microencapsulation showed potential to alleviate irritation responses typically shown with unencapsulated ingredients.
  • Microencapsulation showed greater potential to alleviate inflammation with a potential sustained effect versus the unencapsulated ingredients.
Human PK and Inflammation Study (versus Liposomal Delivery):
  • Three times (3x) more active ingredient was absorbed into the blood when equal amounts were ingested compared to liposomal delivery.
  • Peak blood levels were 2 times (2x) that observed with liposomal delivery.
  • More efficient delivery was noted across a 6-hour period vs liposomal delivery. Also, delivery was faster relative to unencapsulated delivery.
  • More effective than liposomal delivery at reducing inflammation in the human body.
